RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, plan, and execute studies related to the broiler gut function project.
- Contribute to study management and provide training for postgraduate students.
- Disseminate research outcomes through reports, seminars, and scientific publications.
- Assist in writing peer-reviewed journal articles.
- Present research findings to internal and external stakeholders, as well as at national and international conferences.
- Supervise and co-supervise postgraduate students.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, developments, approaches, and techniques in the field, and facilitate their introduction and adoption.
- Manage communication among all stakeholders involved in the research project.
- Assist in grant proposal writing to secure additional funding.
Minimum requirements
- PhD degree in Applied Microbiology, Nutritional Biochemistry, and Veterinary Physiology, or related fields, obtained within the last four years.
- A minimum of five research articles on gut function in birds, probiotics, nucleotides or nanoparticles published in reputable journals.
- Proven experience in applying multiple omics techniques (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and metagenomics) to gut health and related fields.
- Proficiency in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of multiple omics data.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a research team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity for independent research.
