Academic Navigator (Lecturer): Motion Design Technology 3 (Part Time) needed at IIE MSA and IIE Varsity College

Key Performance Areas:

• Prepare for lectures based on provided content. Supplement content with own expertise. Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Support student academic success by implementing workshops where needed.  Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

​Ideal:   

• Honours or Master’s Degree in Digital Design, Multimedia Design, Motion Design, Interaction Design or Animation.  
• Professional Portfolio to illustrate expertise in industry standard 3D animation software. 

Alternatively:   

• Undergraduate qualification in a relevant design field, and an NQF 8 or higher qualification in Higher Education.  
• Plus, Adobe and Autodesk Maya/ 3DS Max Certification.  

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• ​​ Advanced skills in 3D software such as Blender or 3DS Max and Adobe Creative Cloud Software, with experience in 3D animation.  Minimum 2 years work experience using 3D software is required
