Job purpose

• To provide accurate, timeous and relevant financial information to facilitate decision-making and controls and to ensure that financial transactions are controlled and processed timeously.

 
Job objectives

• Assist with the insurance renewal, claims and, billing processes.
• Assist with the compilation of the Group 3 year and detailed budget reporting packs.
• Review of balance sheet recons prepared by the business teams and assisting with review of internal financial controls.
• Preparation of the IFRS16 recons and supporting calculations and reporting notes.
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
• Assist with Property Plant and Equipment – capex tracker, cash flow and reporting notes.
• Posting of journal entries related insurance and capex

Minimum requirements

Education

• CA (SA) (desirable)
• B.Com Honours with accounting (essential) 

Experience

• 1-3 years’ experience within a corporate environment
• 1 year Financial Reporting experience
• SAP experience (essential)
• SAP EPM experience (essential)
• Commercial acumen and experience within a finance function
