About the job

• We are assisting our client, a global freight and logistics solutions company, to identify a CA. 
• We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with strong leadership skills and a process-driven mindset. This role ensures accurate financial records, supports audit readiness, and enhances financial operations. This role is for ideally for someone that would like to move out of audit into more of an operational role. 

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting
• Lead and develop a team of creditors clerks
• Ensure accurate accounts payable/receivable processes
• Improve accounting procedures and ensure compliance
• Collaborate with stakeholders on financial matters
• Maintain accuracy, composure, and professionalism under pressure

Qualifications:

• CA(SA) qualification
• 3+ years’ experience in accounting and administration
• Strong leadership, management and communication skills
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
• High attention to detail and emotional intelligence
• Ability to handle a fast paced environment
