Job Primary Purpose

  • The main purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Research Management Office, including administrative activities of the division to the Director, and to be responsible for the organisation and coordination of office operations, while ensuring that policies and procedures are implemented in line with best practice and University policies and procedures.

Key Performance Areas:

  • General administration support and office management.
  • Records keeping.
  • Review of applications.
  • Client liaison with staff, students and external stakeholders.
  • Completion of paperwork, filing, processing documents and recording information.
  • Perform other duties as delegated by the line manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • M+3 (Degree or Diploma) related to Admin/Secretary work/Office management or equivalent.    
  • 4 years relevant experience in administration support.

Key Competencies

  • Sound knowledge and application of research administration and support, systems and procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deadline driven.
