Administrator: Development needed at Nelson Mandela Bay Metro

Qualifications and experience required:

• Relevant tertiary qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Waste
• Management, Urban Planning, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or a related field.
• A valid Code B driver’s licence.
• Three to four years’ experience in Waste Management planning.

Job purpose:

• Performing specific tasks/activities associated with Waste Management through development and maintenance of an Integrated Waste Management Plan, development of community projects to create public awareness, provision of training of staff members associated with waste management, attending to legal and environmental responsibilities supporting accomplishment of the strategic objectives of Waste Management encapsulated in the Metro’s Integrated Waste Management Plan.
• As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
