POSITION SYNOPSIS:

The purpose of the role is to support the training department on an administrative level, by complying with company procedures and standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Serious contenders will have a Grade 12 together with a 1-year occupational certificate with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Training Administration role;
  • Experience working on SAP/1SAP is essential;
  • Computer literacy in MS Office Suite is essential.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Compile internal weekly/monthly training reports;
  • Compile legal training reports BBBEE, Mining Charter;
  • Participate in training audits and provide relevant information;
  • Booking of internal and external training Providers, Trainers, LMS;
  • Create PRs on the South32 SAP system and provide PO Nos to providers;
  • Ordering stationery, refreshments, PPE etc.
  • Capture training on Sum-Total Learner Management System;
  • Keep training records Master Record Index;
  • Receiving, Retrieving and issuing of training certificates;
  • Coordinates the Study Assistance Program;
  • Knows and understands target population training needs;
  • Ensure the use of controlled documents at the operations;
  • Ensure customer related issues are attended to and resolved;
  • Advises line managers and employees regarding training related matters;
  • Ensure compliance to organizational and legislative requirements;
  • Ensure good housekeeping in area of responsibility.
