MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Administration
- Responsible for the effective delegation of tasks and distribution of work for all sales administrative functions within the Advances Technical Support Department.
- Perform the role of a checker and approver for the following functions:
CSM
- To ensure if CIF creation is approved based on the following:
- FICA Status
- Customer type
- All fields and financial information is captured correctly
Vendor creation and approval
- To ensure vendor creation and approval is created and approved correctly based on the following:
- Correct supplier is created.
- Correct vendor GL is chosen
- Vendor is flagged at back end
FMS
Collaterals
- To ensure that collaterals for all finance transactions are checked with the highest level of accuracy and approved correctly according to deadlines and thereby improving efficiency.
Facility Approval
- Correct customer is reflecting.
- Finance amount is correct.
- Correct Committee is chosen depending on exposure.
- Correct collaterals are assigned to the facility.
- Custom fields are completed correctly.
- Correct charge types and amounts are captured correctly on Sharepoint
- Repayment plan is reflected correctly.
- Correct documents are uploaded on system for applicant
IIS
- Checking of IIS deals for motor vehicle, equipment, property and trade before approving for accuracy and completeness.
- Assisting in the capturing trade transactions when the Department is short staffed.
- Correction of collaterals and values to be resolved within 3 days in line with Albaraka Banks policy.
Other
- Will provide support to the Department in the event the Advances Technical Support Manager is on leave.
- Will perform other tasks as and when required which will also include the duties of an Advances Technical Support Assistant
- Approving debit orders.
- Liaison with Centralised Credit Hub.
- Staff Management Takes responsibility for the supervision and performance of the Advances Technical Support Assistants and delegation of tasks.
- Ensure new advances technical support staff are adequately trained.
- Collaborates with the HR department to develop and update Job Descriptions for all staff in the division.
- Ensure that staff are adequately trained to meet the performance expectations of the Bank.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant Diploma/Degree in Banking / Finance
- Computer skills
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years’ experience within a Financial Services institutions
- General banking experience would be an advantage
