Afrikaans Au Pair | Pierre van Ryneveld, Centurion | R10 500 per month needed at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• A family is looking for an AFRIKAANS AU PAIR for their 2 children
• Area: Pierre van Ryneveld, Centurion
• Children’s Ages: 8 year old Boy (Grade 3) and 13 year old Girl (Grade 8)
• Working hours: Monday – Friday 13:30 – 18:30                 
• School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
• Duties: Collect from school, take to extra-murals, assist with and supervise homework, run general family errands, grocery shopping on your behalf, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, prepare meals for your children, occasional babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement)
• Special Requirements: Age 20–25, Afrikaans Speaking female who can take initiative and ownership of the children’s arrangements on my behalf. Someone mature, reliable, and dependable – not the type to cancel or let the family down at the last minute.
• She must also be able to be patient, as we do struggle with homework and concentration with my 8 year old son (no formal diagnosed neurodiverse needs). Someone with tutoring experience would be beneficial.
• Start Date and contract term: 12 January – permanent
• Salary: R10 500pm (Gross, before deductions) + petrol card provided for travel done within working hours (not to get to work and back).

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
