Responsibilities

• We have an amazing opportunity for AI Specialist (x5) to be based in Umhlanga. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star? 
• As an AI Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions that enhance business operations and customer experiences. This includes building intelligent systems such as chatbots, automation tools, and data-driven applications, particularly within digital platforms like affiliate and customer-facing systems.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities where AI can drive efficiency, improve decision-making, and create measurable business value.
• Your responsibilities will include developing and integrating AI models and APIs, optimizing workflows through automation, and continuously improving deployed solutions based on performance and user feedback.
• This role requires a strong blend of software development, practical AI implementation, and system integration skills, with hands-on experience in deploying real-world AI solutions. Familiarity with modern AI tools, APIs, and low-code/no-code platforms will be essential in rapidly delivering scalable and effective solutions.

What you bring:

• Strong understanding of automation principles and best practices.
• Experience with all MS365 Applications, ChatGPT and other third-party AI tools.
• Proficiency in at least one no-code/low-code automation platform such as Power Automate, Zapier, Make.com, n8n, or similar.
• Solid understanding of API integrations and webhook concepts.
• Understanding how to build and implement Local LLM Setups.
• Ability to develop fully functional data-based applications using Codex.
• Experience with prompt engineering and leveraging large language models (LLMs) for business applications.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and their automation capabilities.

Bonus To Have:

• Diploma or degree in IT or related fields 
• Valid drivers license
• Experience in Machine Learning and Predictive Modelling
• Basic understanding of traditional programming concepts, ideally with exposure to Python and programming assistants like GitHub Copilot
• Familiarity with AI/ML libraries such as Langchain.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis.

What You’ll Do for The Brand: 

• Design, deploy, and maintain local and hosted Large Language Model (LLM) solutions, including on-premise setups where required, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. 
• Develop and implement agentic AI systems (AI agents) to autonomously execute and orchestrate business tasks, improving operational efficiency across departments. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Marketing, Operations) to define AI requirements and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions. 
• Identify and evaluate business processes to uncover opportunities for AI-driven automation and optimization. 
• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI solutions, including intelligent workflows, chatbots, and decision-support systems. 
• Build and integrate AI-powered applications into existing business systems using APIs, webhooks, and modern integration frameworks. 
• Develop intelligent automation solutions leveraging prompt engineering, LLMs, and AI tools for use cases such as customer interaction, data analysis, and decision support. 
• Utilize platforms such as MS365 Power Automate, Zapier, Make.com, n8n, Relevance AI, and similar tools to rapidly deliver solutions. 
• Apply programming skills (e.g., Python) and frameworks such as LangChain (or similar) for advanced and custom AI implementations. 
• Design, deploy, and maintain AI chatbots and conversational systems across internal and customer-facing platforms
• Work closely with IT and Developers to integrate AI solutions into Hollywoodbets systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. 
• Lead the development of internal AI tools and automation frameworks to support business operations. 
• Support and guide AI Champions across departments to drive adoption and effective use of AI solutions. 
• Train business teams on AI tools and best practices to maximize productivity and value. 
• Ensure all AI implementations comply with internal AI policies, governance, and security standards.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI trends, tools, and technologies, contributing to ongoing innovation and research initiatives.
