Key Performance Output

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Manager Operational Planning, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

  •   Monitor stakeholder compliance across all PBA processes including AMC representatives.
  •   Ensure daily operational plans are completed, review quality, critical information is communicated, and according to agreed standards.
  •   Verify and update procedures for continuous improvement.
  •   Ensuring execution of the AMC decisions, monitor implementation and resolution of the event.
  •   Ensure a culture of real time monitoring in the AMC, monitor relevant systems to detect events that may cause delays to the PBA process   across the airport as a whole.
  •   Identify solutions and escalate challenges within specific focus areas to the correct level in the organisation to ensure that it is timely           addressed.
  •   Management of real time capacity for exceptional circumstances (events/weather related).
  •   Facilitate efficient communication across functions (or organizational boundaries) for all AMC related processes including information           dissemination.
  •   Participate in cross functional/ organisational communication including information sharing to the AMC in order to manage and analyse       events effectively.
  •   Compile reports and indicate deviations on published procedures and regulations.
  •   Produce monthly management reports through the analysis and trending of operational activities and data to provide business intelligence for decision making.
  •   Managing the Company’s risk exposure and minimize liability through identifying, implementing, and maintaining risk control measures.
  • ·      Accountable for operational team performance through effective management within policies and procedures to ensure achievement of   standards/objectives.
  •   Provide input to the performance management of all Internal and external REPS and engage operational managers when needed.
  •   Conduct trial and simulations as well as techniques to optimise assets utilisation.
  •   Monitor airside, terminal, and landside service providers performance through engaging and supporting the service providers to achieve      and exceed agreed service levels in adherence to the SLA contractual agreements.
  •   Approve works notification processes, influence, and monitor projects and maintenance works in order to reduce impact on Passenger,      Aircraft, Baggage operations.
  •   Ensure the operational plans and resource allocations are accurate and that they meet the operational demands.
  •   Highlight the impact of festive periods and big events on the operation and ensure the resource plans are modified accordingly.

Technical Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:

  •   Bachelors Degree (3 years – 360 credits) in Business Management is essential.
  •   5 years aviation operational experience is essential.
  •   2 years experience in operations is essential.
  •   Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.
