Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- B Com (Hons) in Investment /Financial Management / Economics or BSc (Hons) degree in Mathematics / Statistics
- FAIS RE5 Certificate or must be obtained within 6 months of employment
Minimum Experience:
- At least 2 to 3 years of investment industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- CFA or CA (SA)
Duties:
- Producing monitoring reports on qualitative and quantitative factors (minutes, risk and performance reports)
- Screen and analyse potential managers w.r.t qualitative and quantitative factors (using Databases like Wilshire and eVestment) to produce reports for analysis
- Produce Risk and Return analysis of existing managers relative to peer groups, industry and composites
- Produce reports for clients and internal committees, i.e. Group Management Investment Committee and Investment Committee.
- Researching and evaluating investment strategies, ideas and concepts
- Management fee calculations
