About the role:

  • Responsible for merging talent sourcing expertise with advanced data analytics. The primary objective of this role is to identify top-tier candidates through data-driven insights that enhance sourcing strategies and recruitment efforts. This includes analysing market trends, sourcing metrics, and candidate behaviours. Play a critical role in ensuring Capitec attracts and retains high-calibre talent.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Demonstrate at least 5 – 7 years of talent sourcing and research, in a corporate environment.
  • Proficient in using Boolean search, X-ray search, and other advanced sourcing techniques.
  • Advanced skills in interpreting complex datasets to generate actionable insights
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and HR technologies (e.g., ATS, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter).

Ideally you also have:

  • Knowledge of effective stakeholder engagement techniques, including how to communicate complex recruitment data and insights to non-HR stakeholders. Ffamiliarity with emerging technologies and AI applications in recruitment, such as chatbots, automated screening tools, and AI-driven candidate matching systems.

What you will be doing:

  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques (Boolean search, social media, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) to identify and engage top talent.
  • Build and maintain robust talent pools for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Conduct detailed market research and talent mapping to understand the competitive landscape and emerging talent trends.
  • Develop and implement strategies to source diverse candidates, aligning with Capitec’s DEI goals.
  • Gather and manage data from various sources, including ATS, CRM, and market research tools, to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Analyse recruitment data to identify trends, measure sourcing effectiveness, and optimize the hiring process.
  • Use predictive analytics to forecast hiring needs and assess potential talent our shortages or surpluses.
  • Create and present regular reports and dashboards on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, sourcing efficiency, and candidate quality.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve recruitment processes and sourcing strategies.
  • Work closely with Talent Sourcing Partners, hiring managers, and Delivery teams to ensure alignment of sourcing strategies with business objectives.
  • Utilize HR technology, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and analytics platforms, to enhance sourcing and data management processes.
  • Support employer value proposition initiatives by using data insights to target specific talent markets effectively.
