MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

  • To design and develop cost effective workable concept layouts that adhere to operational requirements, Mediclinic and regulatory standards, as well as to improve existing design process, including operational nursing process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Perform concept planning and detail development within the Architectural Design Team 
  • Ensure implementation of architectural designs principles within the Architectural Design Team
  • Implement the workflow of multiple projects within the Architectural Design Team
  • Continuously improve facilities and processes within the Architectural Design Team
  • Perform administration and record keeping duties within the Architectural Design Team
  • Assist with commissioning of designed facility within Infrastructure
  • Maintain stakeholder and client relationships within the Architectural Design Team

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

  •  National Diploma Architectural Technology (3 Years)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

  •  3 – 5 years in Architectural Technology in Commercial Architecture 

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 – 7  years in Architectural Technology in Commercial Architecture specific emphasis on Healthcare

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Caddie/ AutoCAD
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office package)
  • Construction Process
  • Architectural Design Principles _ SANS 10400 / NBR
  • Interpersonal relationship skills
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently
