About the Role
This high-RPM commercial role drives global software adoption by managing complex technical data and B2B logistics solution workflows. Utilizing Salesforce for pipeline optimization and HubSpot for strategic lead nurturing, the manager ensures 100% compliance with commercial licensing and international trade standards. Their work reduces operational risk through accurate sales forecasting and leveraging data-driven insights to expand the logistics footprint across South Africa.
Your tasks
- Proactively acquire new customers through your network and industry outreach (transporters, freight forwarders, fleet operators, etc.)
- Deliver compelling product presentations both online and in person
- Develop tailored proposals and negotiate contracts to close
- Manage and grow existing client accounts through retention, upselling, and cross-selling
- Collaborate closely with local and international teams, reporting to branch leadership
Your profile
Your qualifications
- Completed logistics, business or software degree with relevant professional experience
- Strong IT affinity and a knack for systems thinking and process optimisation
- Knowledge of the logistics sector with specific focus on road freight is essential
Minimum qualifications
- Minimum 3 years sales experience is essential – ideally in the area of software products and/or logistics
- Valid passport and Code 8 driver’s license
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially at C-level
- Dedication to the job and excellent sales techniques
- Fluent English; additional South African languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel; you will require a valid passport
