Artisan Attendant: Building Maintenance Job at West Coast District Municipality

Job Purpose :

• Performs tasks / activities associated to execute specific artisan works related to general building maintenance, carpentry, and elementary plumbing related works according to standard and procedures on interior and exterior Council property by using the most effective working methods and safety aspects.

Qualifications :

• Grade 9 / AET Level 4 NQF1/ Experience : 0 – 1 year relevant experience
• Studying toward a trade certificate

Requirements : 

• Must be able to communicate in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
• Good verbal reporting skills 
• Be able to work independently 
• Attention to detail 
• Good Carpentry and building maintenance skills

Salary : R 141 817.92 – R 178 873.19 per annum (TASK grading 4)
Probation Period : 3 Months
