Artisan, Auto Electrician X 2 REF: IVP-ENG- 2425 needed at Ivanhoe Mines

Suitable candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

• Qualified Auto Electrical Trade Test Certificate at recognized/accredited institution.
• Valid code EB 8 driver’s license
• Fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Competent B Certificate

Suitable candidate must have the following work experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Auto Electrician surface and underground
• Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools
• Perform routine checks and maintenance to prevent electrical problems
• Has work with modern vehicle electrical systems

Your successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

• Ensure that a good standard of safety awareness is maintained
• Ensure that section personnel comply with the requires Health and Safety and Environmental standards.
• Ability and ensuring that TMM auto electrical equipment and installation
• Servicing and maintenance of electrical part regularly for safe and good working conditions.
• Analyse and interpretate technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards and maintained.
• Maintenance and repairs of all TMM auto-electrical equipment in the underground.
• Ensure that the maintenance and overhaul of TMM auto electrical equipment installed and/or operated or intended to be installed and/or operated is in accordance with relevant standards.
