- An NQF level 7 qualification in Management Accounting/Financial Management/Economics/ Public Finance as recognized by SAQA; A minimum of
- 3 years’ relevant experience in Budgeting and Financial Management of which (2) years should be at a supervisory level;
- Knowledge and understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National Treasury and the Appropriation Act;
- Knowledge and proper understanding of the Budget process as prescribed by National Treasury
DUTIES : Key Performance Areas:
- Coordinate the Departments Internal Budget Planning Process;
- Coordinate, review, analyse and quality assure the budget preparation process;
- Coordinate, review and quality assure the implementation of the Budget Planning Processes;
- Provide effective people management.
