Minimum Requirements: 

  • Grade 12 plus a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration/Business Studies or Business Management or Supply Chain Management or Law (LLB)/Commerce/Administration (NQF level 7); 
  • 6 – 8 years’ appropriate experience in local government or similar environment, of which 2 – 3 years at middle management.  

Primary Function:

  • Plan, manage, control and oversee the effective functioning and operational efficiency of the Supply Chain Management Committee System section within the City of Johannesburg. Assist the Deputy Director: Committee Systems in the development and implementation of the strategic vision in line with the vision of the SCM Unit across clusters.
