Description
Requirements:
- Grade 10 (Must be able to read and write)
- Must be 18 years or older
- Willing to complete practical and theoretical firefighting training
- Be stationed at any Fire Station within the Hessequa Municipal Area
- Work overtime and on short notice
- No criminal record
- Two years’ experience in a similar position, will serve as recommendation.
Duties:
- Perform fire-fighting operations
- Respond to fires
- Check and maintain equipment
- Keep vehicles clean and maintained
- Assist with clearing fire breaks
- Perform control room duties.
