Assistant Manager: Treatment Works (MEI) needed at Nelson Mandela Bay Metro

Qualifications and experience required:

• Three to five years’ relevant experience since obtaining BTech.
• A relevant BTech degree in Engineering.
• Code EB driver’s licence.
• Computer literacy – Office applications.

Job purpose:

• Coordinating and controlling the Section’s tasks and activities associated with the Mechanical/Electrical Instrument Section, maintaining effectiveness of repair and maintenance to plant and equipment in the Infrastructure and Engineering Business Unit, through the implementation of procedures, applications, systems and controls to facilitate the regions with regard to efficient and cost-effective service delivery in accordance witht the objectives of the Division/Department.
• As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
