  • Oversee daily production, support engineers to ensure machines run efficiently to maximize profits.
  • Develop production schedules: plan, direct and assign duties of manufacturing personnel, authorizes overtime, as necessary, to meet production goals.
  • Analyse and interpret data received and prepare management and financial reports on a daily basis.
  • Prepare daily production figures for production meeting, compile month-end reports.
  • Troubleshoot production problems, report any process problems to Production and Operations Manager.
  • Motivate the staff and ensure the execution of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety regulations, 5S and Food Safety standards
  • Contribute actively towards Operational Excellence (OPEX) by continuously improving the operational performance of your team with a set of various LEAN tools
  • Foster collaboration within the team and with related departments by leading by example
  • Support Production Manager to manage the Production Department, this includes to:
    • organize and conduct meetings with supervisors on a regular basis
    • recruit (with HR) new employees
    • ensure efficient shift hand-over and prepare shift schedules
    • perform disciplinary actions
    • oversee all production training, maintain a skill level balance on all shifts, perform annual performance evaluation, assess training needs of staff and ensure execution of training

WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT

  • Min 4-year Degree (Associates) in related field or equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience in applicable technology.
  • Technical / Engineering background
  • Lead and guide the Production staff including the responsibility of recruiting, on-boarding, training, planning, reviewing etc.
  • Thorough understanding of Health and Safety practices
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills in English and local language.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent collaborative skills
