What you’ll do:
- Oversee the development and consistent application of the organisation’s brand narrative, visual identity guidelines, and templates across all communication channels.
- Manage all aspects of communications including blog posts, press releases, media relationships, stakeholder updates, crisis communications, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Lead the creation of engaging content such as white papers, industry research reports, case studies, portfolio highlights, data-driven analytics pieces, and impact stories tailored for institutional investors.
- Collaborate closely with investment and impact teams to translate complex financial data into clear messaging that resonates with both internal stakeholders and external audiences.
- Build and nurture relationships with key media outlets, industry partners, influencers within the impact investment ecosystem, ensuring strong market presence.
- Develop annual marketing and communications strategies aligned with organisational goals for fund management and impact investment products.
- Craft compelling positioning statements and messaging that highlight the value proposition of the organisation’s offerings to potential investors and investees.
- Design high-quality templates for investor presentations, pitch decks, impact reports, factsheets, ensuring materials are tailored for institutional audiences.
- Monitor marketing performance metrics rigorously; deliver actionable insights to continuously improve campaign effectiveness across all platforms.
- Coordinate event participation by managing conference presence and collaborating on hosted events or securing speaking opportunities for senior leaders.
What you bring:
Essential
- 5+ years of marketing and communications experience in fund management, private markets, or impact investment.
- Strong understanding of institutional investor audiences and the capital raising process.
- Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality marketing materials for funds and investment products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen eye for visual design and storytelling.
- Experience translating impact data and narratives into compelling marketing content.
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels and tools (CMS, CRM, social media, email marketing).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, results-oriented approach.
Desirable
- Prior experience marketing emerging markets funds or products.
- Knowledge of key players and trends in impact investing and development finance.
- Network of media and PR contacts in relevant sectors.
