Au Pair (Part-time)

• Our client, located in Pretoria East, is seeking a dedicated and trustworthy individual to provide attentive childcare in the afternoons and to be available for additional au pair duties if required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• Proven experience working with children (infants and toddlers).
• Available to work Monday to Friday, 12:30 – 16:15, with flexibility for additional hours as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children during afternoon care.
• Monitor and respond to children’s emotional and physical needs.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring mealtimes are organised and hygienic.
• Promote and maintain proper hygiene, including changing nappies as required.
• Create and follow daily routines that support physical activity, rest, and play.
• Observe and report on developmental milestones or concerns relating to social, physical, or cognitive behaviour.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child’s routine, wellbeing, and progress.
• Maintain clean and organised areas for eating, resting, and activities.
• Submit monthly developmental programmes and progress reports.
