Au Pair | Silverlakes | R10 500 per month needed at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their daughter aged 3.5 years old
• Area: Silverlakes
• Ages: daughter aged 3.5 years old
• Neurodivergence Snapshot & Support Style:  ADHD and potentially Autism (unmedicated). Attends Play Therapy and OT, she has a very strong personality and likes to be in control
• Working hours: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: 13h00 – 16h00, Friday: 09h00 – 15h00
• School holiday hours / sick days: Monday – Tuesday: 24 hours per week between 09h00 – 15h00  
• Duties: Meet the daughter at home, potentially take to OT on Friday if the mother is not able to, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities and age appropriate activities, assist with general care and supervision, assist with setting and reinforcing boundaries. Candidate to send an introductory and motivational video or voice note with their application.
• Requirements: Age 24 – 35, English / Afrikaans speaking, energetic, very patient, but firm. Experience with ADHD
• Start date: January 2026 start – permanent contract
• Salary: R10 500 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76). The monthly salary of R10 500 reserves the candidate to remain available for 24 hours per week. Overtime will be paid over and above 24 hours per week for things such as sick days, weekend / evening babysitting

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
