Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of electrical equipment and systems in mining machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve electrical issues.
- Install, test, and certify new electrical equipment and systems.
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of electrical repairs and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Auto Electrician Trade Test Certificate
- 5 years’ experience as an Auto Electrician within the mining industry.
- 3 years’ TMM experience.
- Valid Drivers’ License
