Back Griller (Flat Top) (Mahikeng) needed at Henwil Chickens Corporate

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12/National Senior Certificate.
• A recognised Chef’s qualification will be advantageous.
• Working experience in a Fast Food Restaurant as a Griller will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene practices.
• Must be willing to work overtime, public holidays and weekends.
• Excellent communication.
• Must be able to perform under pressure.
• Hardworking, honest and self-motivated.
• Situated within the Mahikeng area will be advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities

• In-depth knowledge of the menu.
• Know all precook procedures of products as well as holding times.
• Hot Food SOP’s – must know Standard Operating Procedures for preparing pap, rice, spinach.
• Must know procedures on how to prepare Burgers, Veggie bowl, Livers, Wraps, Chips, Strips with either rice, chips or salad.
• Maintaining a clean workstation at all times.
• Know how to package each item if it is a “take-away”.
• Know how to plate items if the order is “sit in”.
• Follow standard operating procedures for cleaning of equipment such as the Back grill, Extraction, Gas cooker, Chip Fryer(Filter oil) Chip dump, Microwave and Under bar fridge.
