PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
- We require a dynamic Back Orders Clerk to request stock from branches for items on back order & to cancel back orders no longer required.
- Incumbent will follow up on backorders and expedite the process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Request stock for sales agents
- Request stock for branches
- Cancel back orders
- Clear obsolete items from the back-orders list
- Complete and follow up on back orders report for sales agents
- Authorizations to request stock from other locations
- Follow up on outstanding requisitions
- Maintain and process requests via the “ORB” system
- Document and follow up with purchasing on back orders with no stock
- Transformers back orders – report
- Stock checks
- Administrate staff sample accounts
Requirements
- 2 years of sales in an electrical environment
- Admin or similar role experience
- Accpac experience preferred
