Job Objectives
- Providing administrator supports with employee benefit enrolments, changes, and terminations in compliance with legislation and company regulations.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and updating benefits information in HR systems or databases.
- Providing information and empowering the Service Desk with relevant first line inputs to build the capacity within the Service Desk.
- Assisting in the coordination of open enrolment processes, including communication and education to employees.
- Working with various stakeholders, such as insurance providers and retirement plan administrators, to resolve benefit-related issues.
- Maintaining confidentiality and security of employee information in compliance with relevant privacy regulations.
- Creating and distributing benefit-related communications to employees, including brochures, handouts, and online resources.
- Participating in benefits team meetings and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
- Staying updated on changing regulations and best practices in employee benefits administration
Qualifications
- Grade 12, National Senior Certificate – (essential).
- Diploma in Administration or equivalent – (beneficial).
Experience
- +1-year in an HR administrator or equivalent role – (essential).
- You will need experience in a fast-paced administration role and great customer service skills. You will need to have the ability to prioritise tasks and complete work to deadlines.
- Experience within the FMCG, retail sector or similar – (preferred).
