Job Advert Summary    

• The BI Developer I will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Qlik Product Suite. The incumbent will be required to work closely with the Unitrans IT and business teams to understand the business process requirements, and to design and build Qlik solutions that streamline and simplify business reporting and visualisations within the organisation.

Minimum Requirements    

• Required qualification: 4 year Degree / NQF level 7
• Years of experience in similar role: Up to 2 years
• Area of Experience: IT Applications Development
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. 
• Advantageous: Registration with professional body; IITPSA – Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa 

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Responsible for supporting businesses in discovering business insights using data visualization techniques.
• Utilize Qlik coding skills to collect, analyse, and interpret large data sets and work closely with business users.
• Design, develop, test and maintain business intelligence solutions.
• Improve existing reports by analysing and identifying areas for improvement.
• Work with business resources to ensure delivered solutions meet the requirements.
• Collaborate to define, design, and accurately estimate time and resources for BI initiatives.
