What you’ll do:

  • End-to-end bid life-cycle management
  • Opportunity bid qualification
  • Bid requirement identification and articulation
  • Resource/BU pre-identification
  • Solution team engagement
  • Ensure that financial and legal parameters are in place and approved with every bid submission
  • Bid shaping
  • Opportunity pursuit management (interface to upstream (capture planning) and downstream (contracting/handover) processes)
  • Bid project management
  • Content assimilation and compilation, ensuring quality response
  • Satellite bid offices support
  • Bid risk identification and mitigation
  • Pitch preparation
  • Strict adherence to Bid and governance, risk and assurance processes and policies

Your expertise:

  • Proven (minimum 5 years) bid management experience as part of a team responsible for the preparation and submission of expressions of interest and proposals, including the preparation of high-quality visual documents, for major opportunities.

Qualifications required:

  • Matric
  • APMP Foundation Certification

Personal Attributes:

  • Teamwork, flexibility, understanding urgency and priorities, and quick problem-solving skills are essential.
  • The role would suit a self-motivated, innovative, and creative individual with the ability to generate new ideas and follow through to completion.
