Blasting Operations Supervisor – Mining needed at Hire Resolve

Description:

• Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for a Blasting Operations Supervisor to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe coordination and execution of blasting operations in line with planned specifications
• Organize and allocate shift resources to support accurate and timely blasting activitie
• Oversee daily operations and provide hands-on supervision during blasting shift
• Manage contractors on-site to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met
• Monitor and control operational budgets, focusing on cost-effective practices
• Lead, guide, and develop team members to drive performance and accountability
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements
• Maintain strict compliance with SHERQ standards and legal safety requirements

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Blasting Certificate in Opencast/Surface Mining
• Supervisory Certificate
• National Diploma in Mining Engineers (Recommended)
• Mine Overseer’s Certificate of Competency (Recommended)
• Valid Driver’s License
