- We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic team as an Automotive Bookings Clerk for our VW Hermanus dealership. As one of the faces of our dealership’s service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating and managing all incoming calls for workshop bookings, booking-in of customers vehicles, and ensuring that our customers’ needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures. You should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and customer facing environment. Additionally, you should have a positive attitude, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Certificate in Office Admin or related qualification
- Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Proficient in computer applications and software
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Clear criminal record
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Management of workshop bookings appointment process
- Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and timeframes
- Coordinate client service bookings between clients and service advisors
- Ensure accuracy of details pertaining to clients, services & issues raised
- Preparation of job cards
- Maintain accurate records of service history and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Address customer concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Administrative duties as required within the Service department
