The Role

  • As Brand Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and executing brand and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, strengthen brand equity and deepen consumer connection.
  • You will work closely with senior management and key internal stakeholders across sales, innovation and operations to deliver impactful, insight-led marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Product Strategy

  • Support the execution of the approved brand, marketing and communications plans, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives.
  • Conceptualise, develop and manage all consumer-facing marketing activities, including above-the-line, through-the-line and below-the-line campaigns.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the market through research, identifying key consumer drivers across economic, social and cultural trends.
  • Work collaboratively with the trade and sales teams to ensure strong alignment between marketing initiatives and commercial objectives.
  • Develop brand promotional activities and guidelines, ensuring consistent and effective execution.
  • Monitor, review and analyse campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
  • Plan and manage brand presence at key events, promotions, conferences and exhibitions.

Innovation & Product Development

  • Contribute to innovative growth strategies, including product development, pricing and new product launches to close market gaps and strengthen category leadership.
  • Develop robust business cases for new innovations, acting as the marketing lead on cross-functional innovation projects.
  • Partner with the innovation team to define project timelines, deliverables and milestones.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget, with effective resource management.

Digital Activation Strategy

  • Implement the approved digital strategy within budget, in collaboration with the senior leadership team.
  • Lead the launch and ongoing optimisation of the company website, ensuring content remains relevant and up to date.
  • Manage updates to pack shots and brand landing pages across all e-commerce platforms.
  • Enhance the company’s digital footprint and brand visibility through creative and effective digital communications.
  • Oversee and manage the company’s social media profiles, ensuring consistent brand messaging and engagement.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Degree (preferably postgraduate) in Commerce, Marketing or a related field

Desirable:

  • Short course or certification in Digital Marketing

Experience

Essential:

  • 5–8 years’ FMCG marketing experience at management level
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful, commercially impactful marketing campaigns
