Tasks
Operational Delivery
- Drive the corrective and preventative maintenance of broadcast systems and equipment is carried out.
- Involved in the creative design and implementation of the new technology and systems changes
- Ensure availability of technical support as well as operational advice to clients
- Ensure that proper mechanical and technical maintenance on OB units/Store items are carried out regularly
- Assist units other than your dedicated unit where business requires
- Operate various tech- systems applications
Budget Management
- Ensure cost effective utilization of resources
- Ensure that there is proper CAPEX planning and budgeting input to relevant line Manager
Communication
- Communicate with clients regarding the acquisitions of equipments or spare parts
- Ensure that feedback is provided on deliverables through appropriate communication channels
- Provide alternate solutions to the Planning strategy for productions to relevant Line Managers.
Qualification:
- A National Diploma in Engineering or similar qualification
Qualification Preferred:
- A Degree advantageous
Experience
- A minimum 3-5 years’ experience outside broadcasting engineering or similar qualification
- Extensive live broadcasting knowledge
