Responsibilities
Job Overview:
- The role of the incumbent is to outload flour from the bulk bins into tanker trucks at the Mill Bulk loading bays to our Bakery customers.
- Complete loading record sheet and confirm loading
- Guide truck under bins
- Weigh tankers in for loading
- Load flour type and mass according to order
- Take flour sample for Lab analysis
- Liaise with Mill team on requirements
- Conduct safety and cleanliness customer care checks
- Maintain good housekeeping standards
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- Adhere to safety requirements
- Conduct bin dips
- Cleaning of the Mill and Bulk area
- Will be required to do general plant maintenance
Qualifications
- Health and safety standards
- Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification [Recognition of Prior Learning [RPL] will be applied based on SETA accreditations
- 6 months experience in the similar environment will be advantageous
- Computer literacy will be advantageous
- Forklift license will be an advantage
- Working at heights training
