The Business Analyst (BA) position will lead the charge in evaluating our current processes, pinpointing areas of improvement, and devising strategic changes to enhance efficiency and profitability.

The BA’s first task will involve conducting a comprehensive review of our business operations across all Departments, Sites, Disciplines, and Regions. Through meticulous data gathering and documentation, you will gain insights into our existing processes at every functional level. Leveraging this information, you will collaborate with process owners to analyze the data and formulate recommendations for refined processes that eliminate inefficiencies and non-value adding activities.

He / She will play a pivotal role in implementing these proposed improvements. This entails effective communication with process stakeholders, adept project management of the implementation phase, and ensuring successful change management practices are in place. Your efforts will directly contribute to the enhancement of our operational efficiency and overall business success.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the construction industry or in similar filed, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Skills / Experience

  • Proficiency in data analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address business challenges effectively.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with software applications used in the construction industry (e.g., project management software, ERP system) is desirable.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.

Key Duties / Responsibility

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.
  • Conduct data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications. 
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, validate solutions, and communicate findings.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of solutions, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify areas where technology solutions can address business needs.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of technology solutions, participating in vendor demonstrations and assessments. 
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
  • continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, making recommendations for enhancements or modifications as needed.
