Business Development Manager needed at South African National Parks

Requirements

• BComm Business Degree or equivalent in Commerce/Finance/Tourism/Economics/Project Management.
• Desirable post-graduate degree in MBA, MCom, Legal, Finance, or related.
• Minimum 6 years relevant work experience in Project Management or Financial Management, Tourism Management and/or Socio-economic development.
• Must have excellent negotiation skills, Conflict management skills, and Communication skills.
• Knowledge of relevant and applicable legislations to business development.
• Demonstrate computer training.
• Drivers Licence.
• No criminal record.

Responsibilities

• To develop and manage business development projects in the region.
• To develop strategies to generate revenue from new tourism products.
• To develop and drive interventions to enhance the performance of existing products.
• To develop and evaluate business feasibility studies.
• To implement and manage Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects and contracts.
• To prepare supply chain documents for evaluation of bids for projects.
• To ensure compliance with the requirements of Treasury Regulations 16 of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (PFMA).
• To proactively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to optimize opportunities for project success.
