Role Summary: 

  • The Senior Operations & Compliance Process Analyst develops, implements, and governs operational processes that ensure strict regulatory compliance within our financial services environment. This role will focus on creating robust operational frameworks that embed compliance requirements while maintaining efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of compliance systems and processes, financial operations and control frameworks. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Operational Process Design: Design and implement end-to-end operational processes with embedded compliance controls, focusing on payment operations, transaction monitoring, reconciliation procedures, and regulatory reporting workflows. Ensure all processes have clear audit trails and verification steps. Reduce operational costs through automated controls 
  • Compliance Framework Development: Create comprehensive compliance frameworks within operational processes, including mandatory control points, regulatory checks, and documentation requirements. Design processes to meet with financial regulations and internal risk policies. 
  • Control Implementation: Establish and document detailed control mechanisms throughout operational processes, including: 
  • Transaction verification procedures 
  • Four-eyes check requirements 
  • Segregation of duties 
  • Exception handling protocols 
  • Escalation matrices 
  • Audit trail requirements 

Quality Assurance & Monitoring: 

  • Design quality control frameworks for operational processes 
  • Establish compliance monitoring systems 
  • Create exception reporting mechanisms 
  • Develop key risk indicators (KRIs) 

Process Automation: 

  • Develop automated control testing frameworks 
  • Build workflow automation for compliance checks 
  • Create automated exception handling systems 
  • Implement automated audit trail generation 

What you’ll bring: 

Educational Background: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or related field 
  • Process improvement certifications advantageous 

Experience: 

  • 5+ years in operations and compliance roles within financial services or fintech services 
  • Proven experience in developing compliant operational processes 
  • Experience with financial control frameworks 

Technical Knowledge: 

  • Deep understanding of financial operations and control systems 
  • Knowledge of compliance monitoring tools 
  • Experience with quality management systems 
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements 

Operational Expertise: 

  • Strong knowledge of financial operations procedures 
  • Experience in payment processing systems 
  • Understanding of reconciliation processes 
  • Knowledge of transaction monitoring systems 
  • Expertise in operational risk management 

Compliance Skills: 

  • Experience in implementing regulatory requirements 
  • Understanding of compliance monitoring frameworks 
  • Knowledge of audit requirements
