Key Responsibilities

Operational Support:

  • Support day-to-day business operations.
  • Address and resolve operational Hiport queries promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
  • Investigate Hiport problems/bugs, log with SS&C and manage until a solution have been found.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure operational processes align with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify inefficiencies and areas for process enhancement within business support operations.
  • Assist in the analysis, design, testing and implementation of process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce risks.
  • Investigate, analyse, test and implement new Hiport Functionality.
  • Coordinate/perform Hiport testing of bug fixes.
  • Perform post-implementation review.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between the business support team and other departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Communicate key operational updates, changes, and process enhancements to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new systems, tools, and technologies that streamline operational processes.

Training and Support:

  • Conduct key operational updates, changes, and process enhancements via training to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing training materials to enhance the team’s understanding of business support operations and procedures.

Project Participation:

  • Contribute to projects related to system upgrades, new product implementations, and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with project managers to support the planning, testing, and implementation of changes within the business support function.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business support, operations, or a related role within the investment industry.
  • Extensive relevant working experience in Investment Administration environment.
  • Hiportfolio working knowledge is essential. 
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
