Job Specification
- Reporting to the Senior Manager Procurement, the incumbent forms part of a Category Management team responsible for the development and execution of the Category Procurement strategy, with a specific focus on sourcing RETAIL PROCUREMENT.
Minimum Requirements
- B Degree (Procurement)
- 2 years related experience with retail procurement within the Retail environment and particularly experience in firearms compliance and legislation, hunting, shooting, ammunition, outdoor gear and pet categories.
- Specialization in Procurement & Data Analytics would be an advantage
- A strong Category specific background and product knowledge with a keen interest to learn Procurement will be considered
- Proficient in use of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel (advanced))
- Demonstrated negotiation skills
- Own transport and a valid driver’s license are required as candidates must be prepared to travel for work purposes
- The candidate must be willing to work long hours during peak times
