What you’ll have done before:

Baseline:

  • NQF Level 6 (Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering).
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in the portfolio of Capex and Maintenance Co-ordination and Administration | Petro Chemical Industry. 
  • Minimum of 3 years working knowledge of SAP ERP Production Proficiency | SAPPM Plant Maintenance | SAP MM Materials Management | SAP PS Project Systems | SAP AM Asset Management.

Advantageous 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Engineering & Maintenance/ Operations/ Plant Environment.
  • Good Technical understanding of Commercial | Lube Business Fuel Installations.
  • Good Technical understanding of Petrol Service Station forecourts and forecourt equipment.
  • Working Experience in the role as SAP ERP Production Trainer.  
  • Working Experience in SAP Preventative Maintenance (PM).
  • Working Experience in basic Finance and Procurement procedures and processes.

  • Applies knowledge to the support and development of Engineering Reliability and Compliance Initiatives.
  • Driving the implementation of the Commercial and Lubes Business as it pertains to Asset | Equipment Maintenance Strategies. 
  • Creates opportunity to streamline | support | review existing Maintenance and Capital Procedures and Processes.
  • Effectively liaise with Engen`s Internal and External Customers thereby ensure effective communication and working relationships with the Engen`s Business Stake Holders.

What you’ll be doing:

ENGINEERING SUPPORT

  • Maximise Engineering project control by timely processing of requisitions & invoices and follow up of orders.
  • Streamline project expenditure by ensuring that the vendor and contractor payments are processed timely.
  • Manage inter-departmental queries as well as ensure that the vendor/ contractor data base in place and up to date.
  • Ensure timely processing of notifications and settlement of invoices.
  • Generate and provide relevant reports for the department and ensure that the project files are complete and accessible.

PLANT & MATERIALS MAINTENANCE PROCESS CO-ORDINATION 

  • Ensure completion of maintenance requests executed and closure of notifications are in line with agreed SLA’s.
  • Ensure that zero outstanding production orders achieved.
  • Ensure that the insurance claims processed and effectively closed.

ASSET MANAGEMENT SUPPORT.

  • Ensure timeously closure of projects and return of capital funds.
  • Constantly update master data to ensure its current and up to date.
  • Ensure that the site closures are coordinated to ensure that the assets removed or reallocated.

STAKEHOLDER INTERFACE

  • Ensure cross-functional processes are managed and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaise with internal customers and ensure effective communication (Procurement/  HSEQ/ CSC/ FSSC).

HSEQ COMPLIANCE

  •  Ensure effective maintenance of HSE records and support compliance with departmental HSEQ Management System.
  • Ensure PTW co-ordination to job card and maintenance.
  • Coordinate the statutory inspection records (tanks; pumps; lifting equipment, marine inspections).
  • Ensure compliance with ZETO rules in work environment.
