What You’ll Have Done Before

Baseline

  • Have more than 2 years of relevant Engen experience and worked closely with various internal Departments and External Contractors
  • NQF7 (Business/Finance/Commerce)
  • Worked in a role where queries and enquiries are comprehensively managed and completed
  • Interfaced with and administered queries for a broad array of internal and external clients via email, telephone, and online systems
  • Able to work and manage your workload independently
  • Generally good IT skills with superior knowledge of Excel and SAP R3
  • Able to extract, format and analyze reports
  • Maximizing Engineering project control by timely processing of requisitions & invoices and to follow up on active orders
  • Streamline project expenditure by ensuring the supplier and contractor payments are processed timeously 
  • Manage inter-departmental queries as well as to ensure  the supplier/contractor data base is in place and up to date
  • Ensure timely Goods Receipting and settlement of invoices as approved by the Engineers
  • Generate and provide relevant reports for the department and ensure that the project files are complete & accessible 

Advantageous:

  • Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity
  • SAP Preventative Maintenance (PM) specific experience
  • Understanding basic finance and procurement processes
  • Exposure to Petroleum Depots and Terminals.
  • Good organizational skills
