Job Description
- You will be responsible for layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and buildings. Other duties will include designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to a client’s requirements.
Key Functions, Responsibilities and Duties
- Moving wood from point of delivery to the wood shop area.
- Conduct tool inspections.
- Taking measurements for pallet needed with a tape measure.
- Operating circular saw machine for cutting timber.
- Use hammer to nail the wood together.
- Picking and packing final products.
- Operate shrink fast gun to wrap the package.
- Manage consumables for the area.
- Strapping the load onto the pallet.
- Operate the overhead crane to pack the load before strapping and wrapping.
- Closing the intake and discharge of the pumps.
- Apply thread protector tape.
- Wrapping and strapping pumps and spares.
- These key functions, responsibilities and duties are only a basic outline and not strictly limited to the above.
