Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage reservations across all properties and prepare accurate rate proposals.
- Maintain precise records of guest bookings, payments, and relevant information to support hotel operations.
- Answer reservation inquiries via phone and email in a professional and courteous manner, adhering to company standards.
- Maximize revenue through strategic up-selling of special packages and room upgrades.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient administrative system within the department.
- Follow up on quotations promptly and manage room blocks and group bookings of various sizes.
- Address and resolve guest inquiries and complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
- Accurately establish and quote rates within authorized pricing guidelines.
- Stay informed about hotel offerings, packages, and promotions to assist guests effectively.
- Coordinate additional guest services such as transfers and dining reservations with relevant departments.
- Report system discrepancies, overbookings, and rate issues to the Reservations Supervisor.
- Process and track invoices, payments, and credit card transactions with precision.
- Ensure all reservations are correctly recorded across multiple booking channels, including OTA extranets.
- Address and resolve guest inquiries and complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
- Accurately establish and quote rates within authorized pricing guidelines.
- Stay informed about hotel offerings, packages, and promotions to assist guests effectively.
- Coordinate additional guest services such as transfers and dining reservations with relevant departments.
- Report system discrepancies, overbookings, and rate issues to the Reservations Supervisor.
- Process and track invoices, payments, and credit card transactions with precision.
- Ensure all reservations are correctly recorded across multiple booking channels, including OTA extranets.
- Adhere to department quality assurance standards and complete the daily reservations checklist.
