Your role and responsibilities
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for a specified market (global/regional) to improve ABB’s market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the related Channel Sales organization.

- This role is contributing to the Process Automation in Longmeadow.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Implement the agreed channel sales strategy and budget.
- Contribute to the identification & achievement of appropriate channels and targets.
- Contribute to achieving key targets (e.g. volume, prices, mix) for the channel in the specified countries and segments.
- Create detailed business plans, implement actions with regular follow-up.
- Contribute independently to sales negotiations and negotiate frame agreements.
- Identify and evaluate channel partners (as per agreed ABB policies and standards including digital and excitation), together with Sales Director & appoint them..
- Regularly report progress against channel strategy, plans and budgets.
- Conduct analyses on channel activity and takes ownership for solving problems
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams and execute those activities that require channel/segment partner participation.
- Implement the planned communication, promotion and training activities in the channel/segment.
- Customer relations: Drive strategic partnerships, develop personal relationships with partners, customers and other decision makers.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing
- 5 -10 years’ experience in Process Automation and exposure working with Channel Partners.
- Strong experience in Energy and Process Industries.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Preference will be given to EE candidates.
