Qualification(s):

• BSc/B Eng in Engineering at NQF 8 with 480 credits               

Professional Registration Body:

• Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) registered as professional engineer

Related Minimum Experience:

• 7 Experience in power system modelling and analysis and/or energy forecasting

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, analyse and recommend short and long term trading strategies
• Provide medium and long term energy trading capability
• Monitor and provide feedback on the implementation and execution of approved strategic recommendations
• Conduct research regarding energy trading methods and develop new techniques
• Provide strategic support and interface with the organisation key customers and stakeholders
• Develop and recommend training programmes for junior employees
