Key Responsibilitiies

• Provide technical consulting and investigation services.
• Produce and integrate complex engineering solutions/designs.
• Develop and approve discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practices and
• specifications.
• Develop discipline specific technology vision, strategy and direction.
• Plan and change discipline specific research into new technologies.
• Represent Eskom in national and international technical forums.
• Manage and conduct complex product, equipment, material, service and change impact evaluations.
• Provide professional technical leadership.

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):

• BSc Eng/B Eng Degree in Engineering at NQF8 with 480 credits

 Related Minimum Experience: 

• 7 Years Extensive Experience in engineering design, design integration, engineering management in power generation technologies for materials handling plant, low pressure services plant, chemical plant, boiler emissions control, milling, draft group, burners, power plant processes, turbine center line, pumps, gas turbines, high pressure equipment,feed heating and cooling, solar plants, wind energy plant and related chemistry systems, electrical, civil, control and instrumentation.
•  Professional Body Registration: Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as professional engineer.
