Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Std 10/Grade 12 or equivalent
• At least three years’ relevant experience at supervisory level within Cleaning Industry
• A valid South African drivers’ licence
• Computer literacy (MS Office suite)

Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities

• Manage time sheets and deal with absenteeism as per policy
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and arrange for faulty equipment to be repaired as soon as is possible
• Ensure that roving Cleaners are deployed wherever they are required and that in-between they are productively deployed
• Ensure that chemicals stocks are kept up to date
• Generate departmental plans and ensure implementation thereof
• Weekly Reports on any concerns /problem areas and challenges
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety cleaning standards
• Onsite training of staff
• To support the Cleaning Supervisor with minor personnel issues
• To support the Manager: Cleaning Services with People Management
• Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Head of Department
