Requirements for Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy Position:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy
• Current registration with HPCSA as a Physiotherapist
• 3 years of clinical experience in Neuromusculoskeletal practice post-community service
• Excellent interpersonal abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Requirements for General Hospital Physiotherapy Position.

Responsibilities:

• Clinical supervision and assessment of undergraduate students in the area of neuromusculoskeletal or General Hospital practice
• Development of clinical sites for optimal student learning and inter-disciplinary collaboration
• Scholarship to encourage evidence-based practice
• Development of appropriate clinical teaching material and learning opportunities
• Administrative and management duties at divisional and departmental levels
• Clinical service responsibilities to maintain and develop practice learning sites
• Independent travel to and between respective practice learning sites
